Kolby Koucheki

Creative Director

Kolby graduated from Randolph Community College with an Associates in Science/Interior Design. She is a designer, art director, and professional figure-it-outer with more than a decade of experience in the creative world. Her background spans interior design, commercial photography, furniture marketing, art direction, and creative production—basically, a lot of making things look good and figuring out how to make them happen.

As Creative Director at Thread, she works with photographers, makers, stylists, digital artists, designers, and clients to turn ideas into sets, stills, video, and everything in between. At home, she enjoys a good DIY project (preferably one involving a saw), a funky pair of pants, and an unreasonable amount of time snuggling with her cats. She also has a well-documented love of frogs—so much so that her husband gets her a frog-themed birthday cake every year.

Bonus Fact: She’s eaten a pickle every day for years. At this point, “salty” is less of a personality trait and more of a nutritional fact.
